Raised by an Antiquing Mother & Grandmother. I have " Junk'in" in my genes. I can't help it!! my vast imagination can't help but conjure up fabulous stories about wonderful Junk. Their History tells a story from the past, and I think brings me closer to my long ago Loved ones. As I've gotten older I realized I don't need to live with so much STUFF...I have sized down to a mere 800 sq. feet.....So the Shop has given me wings to spread my love of " Junk'in" around. " Happy New Year" 2014

Vintage may be derived from the Past, but it is very today....There are moments that come to us in glimpses. A first memory of planting Petunias with your Parents..... Making acorn dishes with your big Sister. Seeing the Ocean for the first time at 22.( Yes the first time I left Minnesota I was 22)...... It can be something so simple as your Mother telling you to always have a tube of RED lipstick on hand, for those  days your not feeling so pretty.... These memories of your past create your Vintage Soul. It's why you covet a peely cupboard that you once found in and old barn. Or a fancy Victorian table that reminds you of your grandmothers house. These are the things that comfort us...they work better then something packaged brand new!!
