I am so in love with this French veranda...I like to saturate myself with visual references.. Magazines, books, websites, art gallery's and quaint little shops.You can't know what style you like if you don't have knowledge of what's out there....I keep a idea board above my work table in my studio,. Always pinning up ideas I like.I also bookmark pictures off the internet, pinterest, and other blogs to maybe incorperate into my creations at a later time.These bloggers and idea makers can do 1\2 the work for you. When I watch a movie my eyes scan the attention to detail in a room or set.When you create a collage board you literally become the designer of your life.A designer friend once told me she has a client put what she loves in a big box. A favorite dish. A favorite dress, items you fell in love with on a trip. A card you received. You get my drift. She said when your done. You will have the base for your style. There will be a Theme going on, color, era,..( Cool..) This will help you find your tastes, you will find your LOOK!!! unique to YOU:O) Your home should tell the story of who you are.....Explore your world...and of coarse we have lot's of ideas at the shop.
