" " Fall At The Ranch" The leaves are crunching under foot , You can hear the gurgling of the river and the Elk are coming in the yard at night for there apple tree feast. The smell of Fall is all around me. It is peeking up here on the mountain and soon the winds will blow all the beautiful leaves off there branches. Fall only lasts for but a moment but stays in my heart forever. I LOVE this time of year.... Pictures taken this morning before going to work... This is my favorite piece I embellished. I love anything Marie Antoinette. Love how the hair turned out. I've been so busy the last couple of weeks, it was fun to get working in the studio again. Antique shoe I made into pin cushion. Embellished little pins for it also... So Cute!!! This one sold , but I am going to make more...XO Chrisy & Kramer

" Escondido Show"

I know it's still warm out but I just couldn't pass up these " Fuzzy Wuzzy" jackets "So So Snugly" One of my mannequin creations transferred on to pillow. " New Tees and Jackets at Chrisy's Cottage" " One of the vignettes at Urban Barn" " Urban Barns New Fabulous Gypsy Wagon" "Escondido Street Fair" " Hubby manning the Booth..... The Escondido Street Fair was our first Calif Show. Location downtown Escondido a charming area with antique shops and cozy restaurants. We did ok. But the 3 day of misty rain kinda put a damper on it....WE are back home with more goodies for you. And I'm taking a break from unpacking to work on my blog...One of the highlights of this trip was to finally get a chance to visit Urban Barn, also located in Escondido.I've been following this group of women since before their move to their present location. I dream of someday being able to be in one of their shows. This is a fabulous shop that was also having their once a month Vender Street Faire ... I had all morning Sat. to explore this wonderful store and to meet and get a warm hug from owner Linda. All her dealers and venders were so gracious. And the talent just pours out of this amazing group of women. I came away so inspired with my bag full of fabulous finds. "Octoberfest Sale At Chrisy's Cottage"

" Fall Projects I'm Working on"

Had so much fun making this headband this morning. I got a bunch of the straw hats at the junk store and then started embellishing from my stash.... I will be making more stay tuned:O} Starting decorating for Halloween. Inspiration " The Birds" movie " Sleeping mask I made for Breakfast Around the Clock Party at Barbs the other nite. What a blast that was. We all went in our pajamas. Loving these muted tones of gray... These my little pretties will be at the Apple Festival we are doing in Pine this week end Sept 25th and 26th . So come up for some fresh pine filled mountain air. "Loving the new Fall colors" This Hamper I found was painted very dark. Of course I had to Spay it white and embellish it. The roof tips back. Perfect for a little girls room...To hold dolls or laundry. These are darling frog boxes. Some of them have a surprise inside... Just found this hand made quilt. It was my inspiration for my fall bed display . " Look at this sweet chair , Great for a vanity . Table has carved checkers to go with it....
