" Losing a Big part of Me"

I guess this is one of the hardest post I have ever written on my blog. Kramer my pal and Buddy had to be put down...He was 15 years young... I probably prolonged his life for my own selfish reasons.AS he has been ill for a while now He was my Muse , He comforted me in so many ways. Always a friend when I was feeling down. Always that happy wagging tail to greet me and everyone he came in contact with...When people say my dog is like a human, it is so true...All that unconditional LOVE....My Sweet Kramer, You were the best of the best. You are so loved and missed. You will always be a part of me. hugs Chrisy

" Our Booth" at " Remnants of the Past" Show

I have fallen in love with the " Remnants from the Past" show. It was so awesome and so much fun. WE have decided to do the Fall Show Nov. 8th & 9th . So if you missed it. Please mark your calenders . A little birdie told me Rachel Ashwell will be there to do signings of her up and coming New book... How cool is that!!!

I made headbands, sachets, and recovered this darling ottoman...

These all sold, but I have all ready restocked the Shop....All my altered couture is gone....

I sold every pair of bloomers....New ones have arrived at the Shop..

My jewelry I made was a big Hit....Will be making more for next show... These were a lot of work but so rewarding one someone fell in love with a piece and bought it...

Oh Yes I had to dress the part...That is half the FUN!!!

" Remnants from the Past " Show Bloomers anyone?

OK Girls...Speckled Hens Show ( Check) Son's Wedding( Check) Strawberry Festival ( Check) and my crowning Glory for the month..... Drum Roll please ... " Chrisy's Cottage"will be doing the "Remnants from the Past" Show with " Affairs of the Heart" &" Posies" June 1st and 2nd at the Madonna Event Center in San Luis Obispo Ca. (9:00 to 5:00) Sat and 9:00 to 3:00 on Sun..WE have a HUGE Booth outdoors and were so excited to be invited to do this wonderful show. If you ever wanted to know whats going on with cutting edge Antique decorating and meet some of the most creative women in the country. This is the show to go to. Early birds get the best deals so come early and your wrist band is good for both days............. Tickets are $ 10.00 and well worth it...So come for some good food some good wine and a fabulous shopping experience!!!!!!

Bloomers will be $ 59.00 while they last!!!!

" Sneek Peeks" Set up tomorrow

Ok, It's 8:30 the Eve before set up for The Three Speckled Hens Show... I am patiently waiting for Lesley ( jackandcatcurio) to show up from Phoenix.Her truck is LOADED, and so is mine ( Thanks to my sweet hubbie) Leslie and Mike will be arriving soon and their bed is all ready...  We will be up early and driving up the Mountain to the quaint community of Paso Robles. Then getting in line at the fairgrounds to start setting up. I am sooo excited. Leslie and I did this show last year for the first time, and we just love the people and the atmosphere of this fabulous show. Hope to see you there:O)

I dyed muslin and made these little treasure bags full of seashells. I also made some one of a kind crowns.  Sweet antique dishes..

and... This amazing hat  I had so much fun creating  will be worn by my " Chrisy's Cottage" mannequin.. Marie Antoinette eat your heart out...Yes that is a blinged out Ship I embellished the side with....I also have some marvelous Antique pieces. linen Chest spindled drop leaf table, bench, ottoman, old french day bed, patio table. I painted these pieces a driftwood grey and just love how they turned out. I also have made over 30 necklaces to entice you. So come for a look. Show dates May 4th and 5th. Can't wait to see you..
