" Fall Projects I'm Working on"

Had so much fun making this headband this morning. I got a bunch of the straw hats at the junk store and then started embellishing from my stash.... I will be making more stay tuned:O} Starting decorating for Halloween. Inspiration " The Birds" movie " Sleeping mask I made for Breakfast Around the Clock Party at Barbs the other nite. What a blast that was. We all went in our pajamas. Loving these muted tones of gray... These my little pretties will be at the Apple Festival we are doing in Pine this week end Sept 25th and 26th . So come up for some fresh pine filled mountain air. "Loving the new Fall colors" This Hamper I found was painted very dark. Of course I had to Spay it white and embellish it. The roof tips back. Perfect for a little girls room...To hold dolls or laundry. These are darling frog boxes. Some of them have a surprise inside... Just found this hand made quilt. It was my inspiration for my fall bed display . " Look at this sweet chair , Great for a vanity . Table has carved checkers to go with it.... Rodeo week was a big success for us at " Chrisy's Cottage" Not only did the girls stop by and bought us out of crinolines& corsets. But came back to hang out with their prisoners to kick off rodeo week. Thanks girls for sending me so many customers . Love you darling rebels, your a blast!!! Hugs Chrisy

" Back from Vacation and buying trip"

I think I was a mermaid in a previous life. I can walk the beach for hours and hours and never be tired.... This house sits on the beach out side of Cambria. This is as far up the coast we got on this trip. It was a sand dollar day... These dry out nice and white. I can see these on the top of some my alterd are bottles... Yes, this is my husband the love of my life.He's not dead just taking a nap. I went for a long walk down the beach and found him sleeping when I got back.. AHHHH!! Don't you love vacations!!

You don't need a ocean view to create the freshness of a seaside bedroom. I hope in while viewing this post you will look to your own bed and realize you have the power to transform your bedroom to convey peace & tranquility, with a theme that is truly your own...( hint ) Surround yourself with your favorite things...Your bed should feel like your slipping into a tub of warm water. It can change the entire way you feel about your bedroom and about sleep. Ahhh "Sweet Dreams" There's something about the Ocean that calls to all of us. Weather we live 20 yards away or 2,000 miles from it, we can't help but smile and feel relaxed at the thought of crashing waves and warm sand under our feet...
