Things are hanging pretty at " Chrisy's Cottage"

My passion for soft tones will be seen as soon as you enter " Chrisy's Cottage" in the back room of " Posies" in the village. That's what you will encounter upon your arrival.  Love is in the air. It's my favorite time of year. It's when I first met my husband 43 years ago. Every year about this time, we plan a romantic adventure. Usually a road trip somewhere close, but fun!!! .........Even the coast nites can be cool. So snuggling up on the sofa with a cozy throw watching a good movie is a regular routine this time of year.......The Christmas hustle has passed, and it's kind of a relaxing time to start to gear up for Spring and everything new again....spring shipments are starting to come into the shop....Come in for a peek...and fall in Love.....

" 2016" Ringing in the new year....

Hears to a refreshing & resourceful New Year. I've gone Natural this year. No I don't mean no make-up Lol.But have started looking at Nature more closely, since I've started Art classes again. I see all the shades in a blue sky. I see all the colors that make up a single green leaf. we truly live in a beautiful world full of beautiful things from nature to decorate our homes. I've brought in wonderful wooden bowls and utensils, Vintage linens and old baskets. I've taken to dragging home long branches from the forest, to use in future vignettes, for the shop. valentines Day is our next fun Holiday. The Season of love is approaching. So " Chrisy's Cottage" loves this romantic season. New shipments will be arriving soon. Beautiful Romantic fashions & accessories for you to make yourself feel beautiful, as nature intended. " Painting classes wth Linda Blevins......"

OK Girls , I've been spreading my wings a bit, and taking some wonderful painting classes from Linda Blevins.  You can email her for more info about up coming classes at: linda@lindablevins.com......I just love how she does it over a 4 week period of time and you start out with basic drawing and color mixing and work your way by week 3 and 4 to really applying what you have learned. her classes are in her home in Nipomo, and on nice days we paint out side.. This has been so wonderful for my soul... So if you are looking for something fun and different . Think about your inner artist and give it a try..........

This is my latest painting. I found the frame at Goodwill for $ 4.99, and replaced picture it came with  , with my artwork.....No that isn't my house. That is Lindas beautiful peacock themed tree she did for Christmas this year. She is really early because she does a Christmas party and ornament exchange. I went with my Daughter-in-law last year and it is a blast.....New shipment of Hats and Ponchos are going in the shop today.... So hope to see you soon  .....Hugs Chrisy
