Altered Couture Jacket made from a vintage waist coat and vintage petticoats. Don't you just love it? This is my finished Marie Antoinette Jacket. A Altered Couture original and one of a kind I made just for my Marie Antoinette Christmas at the shop.....This is a Small size This was my first mermaid necklace I made. I even have cloth beads made of ribbon. all the wire connections were made by hand, and a real shell pendant.....I had so many compliments on this that I came up with the design below just for my fellow mermaids out there... These I have had mass produced for the shop a original Chrisy's design. We also are selling these wholesale to other Boutiques in the western USA. I made it with lots of little charms. Things a mermaid would find in her ocean travels and add to her own personal necklace. You too can be a mermaid and add your own personal charms to this necklace to make it your own.....LOVE IT!!! " Happy Thanksgiving from Chrisy's Cottage"

Hope Everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving . I got to see my new Grand baby giggle and hold and rock him. Which was something to be very Thankful for....... I'ts off to Arroyo Grande again to my shop inside Posies. We will be having our Glamorous Christmas celebration on the 4th of Dec. The whole town will have luminaries up and down the street. Music and food in the shops. And Lots & Lot's of SHOPPERS...YEAH!!!! Don't forget coming up soon Sweet Salvage Shopping Event... " New Product" Chrisy's Cottage

AUUUU!!! Don't you just love these cute goat candlesticks. Cleaning out my guest house at the Ranch, so it shows better. Less clutter they say to sell a house. I'm not saying I'm a hoarder, but I would be if I didn't have the shop to clear it all out once in a while. We are getting serious about the move to Cali. So I have no problem parting with these items knowing I will be decorating in a more beachy theme..... You will find these items now at the shop. “ Back In The Creative World Again”

It’s funny how life throws you little curve balls just when you think you have it all figured out…I was sitting watching a movie with my husband and was rubbing my eye and realized my other eye was only seeing peoples forehead and chin and their faces were all crunched up in the middle ( Very Freaky) The next day I went to the eye doctor and found out I had a macular hole in my eye with traction.. 10 years ago the doctor said they would pat me on the back and tell me I would slowly go blind….. Not something to look forward to in life. Hey, Who would have thought of all the things to go wrong with your health it would be your eyes….So to keep a long story short. On Aug 31 I had major eye surgery to correct this condition. It’s a wait & see with my other eye because I have the traction without the hole. When all is said and done after having cataract surgery ( Eye doesn’t like to be messed with so forms a huge cataract in rebellion) I could have 20/20 vision again. I feel like the worst part is over and really ready to be amongst the living again……Thank you to all my friends and family who were there for me. Sweet Kathy for letting me stay at her condo for 2 weeks post op. because I couldn’t come up the mountain to a higher elevation until gas bubble in my eye was gone. To Leslie & Mike for coming and picking me up to go to “Sweet salvage” A fabulous show I was not wanting to miss. What this has made me realize is how important family and friends are to me . Believe that you can win the fight with the power and passion in yourself and the prayers and comforting words of others….. the above photo is of my son Dylan and his fiancée Britney and me with L.A. city in the background. I have started doing wholesale shows with my Hubbie. This was our booth in Seattle. The next week we did a show in San Francisco. Then hopped down to Carmel to sell to a shop he supplies and then down to Arroyo Grande to restock my “ Chrisy’s Cottage” inside “Posies”. Was so good to see the girls again.
