" Painting classes wth Linda Blevins......"

OK Girls , I've been spreading my wings a bit, and taking some wonderful painting classes from Linda Blevins.  You can email her for more info about up coming classes at: linda@lindablevins.com......I just love how she does it over a 4 week period of time and you start out with basic drawing and color mixing and work your way by week 3 and 4 to really applying what you have learned. her classes are in her home in Nipomo, and on nice days we paint out side.. This has been so wonderful for my soul... So if you are looking for something fun and different . Think about your inner artist and give it a try..........

This is my latest painting. I found the frame at Goodwill for $ 4.99, and replaced picture it came with  , with my artwork.....No that isn't my house. That is Lindas beautiful peacock themed tree she did for Christmas this year. She is really early because she does a Christmas party and ornament exchange. I went with my Daughter-in-law last year and it is a blast.....New shipment of Hats and Ponchos are going in the shop today.... So hope to see you soon  .....Hugs Chrisy

Yes, This is me...MRI showed another brain tumor, behind my left eye,To risky to operate on this one.. So off to San Fransisco again ... 9 hours in this contraption bolted to my head....2 hours Gamma Knife radiation. Dr Mc D is pretty sure they zapped it good...Trying to stop it from growing , They say it could maybe even shrink....YEAH that would be nice , caught it early was only the size of a blueberry...Keep me in your prayers....I'm feeling great, was a blow , but back to normal life again....Man Life can really throw some curve balls.....Loving being with my family and enjoying my Kid's...Hugs Chrisy

" Felting my new passion"

" Sea scape I made in class.. I bought the deep frame at Michaels craft store...

This is a cuff I made, Shrunk a old wool sweater for the band I felted, then lined it with floral cotton fabric with button closer..

Thank You Cindy from " Crimson Hearts Desire" for the wonderful felting class... My sister Gena is visiting from Wisconsin. I thought it would be fun to take a  art class doing something different....Well Girls this was truly a fun fun class to take. Cindy has a amazing studio in her home full of the most fabulous original mixed media pieces...She does Shows and teaches classes, call her for schedule( 805-343-2999)  The first pic is the seascape I did in Cindy's class, the ones following are some pieces I'm making to sell in the Shop..Thanks Cindy for all your inspiration... Cindy will also be at the 3 Speckled Hens Show in Paso Robles Fairgrounds first week-end in May...You will be Amazed!!!!  So lovin  how this tote turned out.....Hugs Chrisy

" Chrisy's Cottage" Romantic Fashions and Accessories..favorite time of year

This is my old Garden gate that blew down in our last Big storm 55 MPH winds Crazy!!! painted pink and now graces my Shop....

 First of all " Happy New Year" and thanks to all our loyal customers who turned out for our food drive....WE were able to send over........ $ 400.00 to the SLO Food Bank, at this very needed time of year.. You are all amazing.. Thank You again for shopping with us that day....

Now that the Holidays are behind us. and... By the way. I had the most wonderful Christmas, with almost all my Children and Grandchildren coming home.... It has made me sooo excited about Life & this Wonderful New Year......and of course one of the Shops favorite holidays approaching. " Valentines Day" followed by " Spring".........Christmas is parred down to a small Sale table, so I have been graciously been adorning vignettes with  Romance, delicious delicacies.......I am in love with the pale , ever so soft colors of Spring. They are so uplifting to me...I find myself humming a Paris tune....Our sunsets here at the beach have been so pink and beautiful. They just wrap around your soul and you can feel the love of the Universe...It's the small things that really are  the Big things..
