"New Purse Arrivals" Don had a great show at First Fridays located on Roosevelt Row down in Phoenix YEAH!!! I don't know if it was the cool down and beautiful night, or if it was the fact that there were not as many vendors. The crowd was bigger than we've ever seen it and they were in a spending mood... Go figure. But we were sooo thankful. It's a long haul for us to pack up the load after a long day at the shop and head down the mountain to set up to do the show$4:00 til 11:00PM and then pack it up and head for home to Payson arriving usually between 1:30-2:00 AM. He sold a couple of big pieces and I sold a lot of rings, tees, hats and purses. So Thank You every one who showed up for a wonderful evening.XO Chrisy

"Visit from and old Friend and fellow Junker"

Recently and old friend from the valley came in with her sister visiting from Kansas.. AUUUU a great place to go antiquing by the way. And if you ever get there be sure to visit Curious Sofa (curioussofa.com ) If not visit her blog you can not help but get excited. My friends sister could not get this lamp shade I had made for my mannequin lamp out of her mind, ( you know we have all been there.) Anyway I got a call from her and promised I would but it on my blog. I started with a old shade with some movement going on and tore of the fabric until I just had the skeleton left and added lace and wired on old chandelier crystals. the finial on top was made by Molly at The White Chair up in Snowflake Az. Another wonderful shop to visit. I heard she is moving to Show Low so you might want to call her first. She took a old salt shaker that has the cork stopper and glued the harp screw into it and then screwed it on top of the harp itself,." VOILA" Scan below for pics Go Girl you can do this.
