Inspired by a piece of driftwood found on Moonstone Beach....And also my project pile.. as you can see never a dull moment there... Love my industrial metal piece. all these soon to be at the shop.. " Before & Afters"

Below are some before & after pics of projects I've been working on. I've been busy all week with company and will be back working on the shop next week. The gym baskets were a great hit to grab for your clothes and taking a shower.....This is a guest area we created in the garage. I don't think I've ever used a garage for a car... Life is good

The Hubbie and the kids( Dreamerz Studios) located at the bottom of this page... are back from selling at the San Fransisco International Gift Show. For a well deserved day at the beach.... Sure was fun to have  our first batch of company.... Hugs Chrisy

" My Little Mermaid Helper"

 Britney & I had so much  fun getting in the Spring mood. We found the cutest bunny hat we placed on a manniqiun and the creativity just started snowballing out of us. I  still have to take the after pics of the furniture. We were inspired by a piece of driftwood we found on the beach. It's hard to see the color Britney is painting with but it is the lightest mutted grey. So Yummy..... 

Britney helped me to do some gardening to dress up the guest area door.

This is the side door to the guest area. the house is beige with hunter green trim. If landlord permits I would like to repaint this door and the houses front door just above a different color....What color do you think?

 While the Gypsies away the Mermaids will play.... Such was the 4 days My Husband and Son ( Dreamerz Studios) left to sell at the  San Francisco International Gift Show..... Brittney  our sons fiance and I brainstormed together to create some new Spring looks for you.She reminds me of me when I was young. So much energy. We got a lot accomplished and had a ball doing it....So here are  some pics for you to view. .

" Captains Chairs" before & after

These are before and after pics of my latest project.I'm going to attempt to paint all my darker pine furniture, large corner hutch and yes my Grandfathers 4 captains chairs that have been in the family for years. Sorry Mom.. and a wonderful large bench that will go on the other side of the table from these puppies.....Hit  the flea market yesterday and have a few pieces to paint for the shop also.

TA DAAA!!! I  painted these each a different color of blue....I think it makes them look fresh and clean... They will be in my guest area around a big work / activity table.... Hugs Chrisy & Kramer

" New Studio" Chrisy's Cottage

I have a passion for old French Bed dolls. These were given away as prizes at carnivals in the 30s' & 40's. How wonderful it must have been to have your loved one win you one of these....I have redressed many of them over the years and then sold them at the shop..... So you will probably see these soon at Chrisy's Cottage inside Posies... They are sooo LOVELY...... MY IDEA BOARD AND WORK TABLE....This is a old sturdy kitchen table I got at goodwill. This will be great to put my sewing machine on and work on all those altered art projects I love to do...The chairs to it I'm using with my farmhouse table in the kitchen. Will show you in another post...This room is a very tiny 2nd bedroom in my little cottage by the Sea. These Ikea bins fit perfect under this little Iron day bed I dragged home from the shop. Sometimes when items don't sell at the shop there's a reason... Now I also have another bed for a guest..... Organization has been key for this small space. I found 2 wonderful cabinets foe 45.00 at a second hand store in San Louis Obispo. They are working great to organize my bins... And hide all that little stuff that makes a room look messy. I got the bins at IKEA about 2 years ago and I love them. they have a place to slide in a label also. So you can see I've been busy. Now I am so inspired to start a project. Will post it on my next blog.A Big thank you to all my friends out there who wished me well in my new adventure.
